Calmac Ferries to The Islands Of Scotland

The main ferry operator from Oban on the mainland to the Isle of Mull is Calmac - www.calmac.co.uk

Caledonian MacBrayne ferries, known also as Calmac serve 22 islands and 4 peninsulas spread over the West Coast of Scotland, each with their own unique qualities and features.

Mull, the second largest of the Hebrides, is easily accessible with a regular service from Oban. The ferry can booked in advance, and it certainly advisable to do so during the Summer months, and particularly on Saturdays.  If you have an option to travel on other days than Saturdays, savings can be made by avoiding expensive 'peak sailings'.

And if you are looking for a cost-effective way to visit more than one island, then the Calmac 'Island Hopscotch' ticket is the one for you.

The ferry to Iona is a non-reservable service. Tickets for this service can be purchased at Calmac's office in Fionnphort or on-board the ferry.

If you are looking for a cost-effective way to visit more than one island, then the Island Hopscotch(TM) ticket is the one for you.
